Stay Animal Welfare

Stray animals are an integral part of our communities, yet many face neglect, injury, disease, and unsafe living conditions. In Bhadohi, unmanaged stray populations and lack of structured care often lead to suffering for animals and conflict within communities. Our Stray Animal Welfare program is built on compassion, responsibility, and sustainable solutions that protect both animals and people.
Uncontrolled populations of stray dogs, cattle, and other animals result in frequent accidents, spread of disease, and inadequate access to food and medical care. These conditions cause prolonged suffering for animals and increase public safety concerns.
The absence of a systematic and compassionate approach to stray animal management often leads to fear, misunderstanding, and conflict between people and animals. This affects community harmony and animal well-being alike.
We work to establish a dedicated Animal Care Unit that implements Animal Birth Control (ABC) and Anti-Rabies Vaccination (ARV) programs. These initiatives help control stray populations humanely while reducing the risk of rabies and other diseases.
Our program sets up a community-based rescue and first-aid network to respond quickly to injured or sick animals. Through timely treatment, emergency care, and rehabilitation support, we aim to reduce animal suffering and improve survival outcomes.
Lasting change requires community participation. We conduct “Compassionate Community” workshops to promote responsible care, empathy, and peaceful coexistence between humans and animals. These sessions educate citizens on humane practices and the importance of shared responsibility.
